SNAP Clinic

SNAP: Spay and Neuter Assistance Program: ALL FURTHER REGISTRATIONS WILL BE FOR OUR MAY CLINIC

OPHS is happy to announce we will be offering low cost spay and neuter services for income eligible community members starting in spring 2023. This program will be for both cats and dogs. All pets need to be under age 7. All dogs will need to be under 40 pounds. One pet per family per event.

This is a SNAP (Spay Neuter Assistance Program) clinic and only income eligible participants qualify. Please fill out the application / registration form below. You will be contacted if you qualify and be given a time for check in on the day of the event. Each clinic is limited to 20 animals. We will be putting you on a waiting list. There will be a deadline for applicants of 10 days prior to clinic date. You will be notified, if you have a surgery spot, two weeks prior to surgery date. A veterinary assistant will confirm pre-anesthetic protocol for your pet 48 hours prior to surgery.

Please indicate if your pet has any existing medical conditions, is on prescription medication and if they need vaccination updates or a microchip. Additional costs apply for additional services.

Your pet will need to be quarantined to your home/property for 10 days prior to surgery to limit the risk of communicable disease and the transmission of parasites. All pets should be on flea prevention prior to surgery date.

Fees for the SNAP event will need to be paid on site with cash or credit card only.

All cats must be in carriers or humane traps.

Dogs must be leashed.

All clinic participants will be given specific instructions for surgery date protocol.

All clinic participants will need to sign our waiver(s) prior to surgery date. These will be emailed in advance.

Post operative emergency may be provided by:
