Pet Help Finder
Pet Help Finder welcomes all clinics and pet care providers who offer meaningful options to enable access to care.
This page contains information for when preparing for, adopting and caring for your new feline or canine friend or for other animal-related information.
The information contained herein is a compilation from many animal welfare and medical organizations for the betterment of animals and their care. Organizations include, but are not limited to: Alley Cats Allies, ASPCA, ASPCAPro, Austin Pets Alive (APA), Dallas Animal Services (DAS), Maddie's Fund, Olympic Peninsula Humane Society, Peninsula Humane Society, Pima Animal Care Center (PACC), San Francisco SPCA (SFSPCA) and UC Davis Veterinary Medicine.
There are limited veterinary options for animal emergencies both during the day and after hours on the peninsula. Please establish veterinary care locally for your pet as soon as possible. Most, if not all, veterinary clinics and hospitals are overwhelmed due to the volume of care needed, especially due to the pandemic and the number of animals adopted during the past few years. You can no longer just show up with an emergency; you must call first. In the case you need to seek emergency care outside of Clallam County you will need to be prepared to drive quite a distance and likely wait for many hours at an emergency facility. You will need to call any facility before showing up as well. They are triaging over the phone and many are diverting care to other Washington hospitals. Below is a list of options for care:
Trails West Veterinary, House Call Vet, Euthanasia Services (Clallam County) 360-565-4941
Diamond B Veterinary, House Call Vet (Clallam County) 360-912-1864
Animal Emergency and Specialty Center, Poulso, WA 360-697-7771

Pet Help Finder welcomes all clinics and pet care providers who offer meaningful options to enable access to care.
There is a local grass roots effort hoping to bring emergency veterinary care to our area. They are actively recruiting volunteers and fundraising to get a hospital and medical team in Clallam county.
